Something I have always noticed is that Chloé gives people what they want. We want lush colors and simple beauty. Fall is all about the reds, browns, and oranges, but this season Chloé gives fall a change much similar to her summer collection.
A collection filled with long pants and natural beiges, one will be warmed up in it until summertime. It also feels like its time to lurk through Mother's closet and cuddle up to a blanket watching Charlie's Angels 1970.
Thank you Chloé for giving fall that glow!

March 18..

So the other day I was wondering through Kensington Market. Just getting my daily intake of vintage. And I came across something magical. Yes Magical! I found 100% silk scarves!

I asked the man a check out "how much?" and he said... "one dollar". One dollar!!!

Little things like that make my fashion wardrobe truly unique!

I suggest everyone to go to their local vintage markets and search high and low for some nice knits :)

Common hair styles
The emo haircut, not all but alot of emo's have black hair, probaly because it matches most of their clothes. The emo guy hair style thats is most common, wearing your hair not too long but past the ears and have it pulled over an eye. I know there are alot more ways for guys to wear thier hair but i think that is the most popular choice of hair style at the time.

Girls, girls, girls.... we all know that there are so many ways that we can do our hair and its great sometime but not always. One popular choice is to wear your hair down and over one eye. If you have short hair I see alot of girls wear it with clips pulling it back in all cute styles. Another hott look is to be two toned with one color on top and another on the bottom, and just wearing it down. There are too many ways that everyone wear thier hair to go over but these are some of the common choices.

Clothing
The emo clothing, alot of emo kids wear black, but don't mistake it as goth or skater cause its not even close. Alot of the shirts that emo kids wear have band names on them or some kind emo saying and yes they are tight. My favortie shirts are the ones with just a lil logo on them like a guitar or maybe cute teddy bear. The best thing to wear are pants best make sure they hug you close, closer the better and i dont think anyone is going to say diffrent. Jackets and hoodies, there are so many kinds of jackets that the emo guys can wear like a sute jacket, i dont think a emo chick has pulled that off yet but if you see a hott emo girl wearing a sute jacket and it dosent look bad let me know. Everyone wears pull over hoodies or jacket hoodies, if it dosent have the hood how are you supose to cover your face a little right? I see all kinds of hoodies and jackets tight and loose and lots of colors, some with band names and some without.

Emo Haircuts

A lot of women love to have long curly hair but not all are blessed with it, neither all those who have, are happy about it. They are not happy with the manageability of the hair. Curly hairs tend to become frizzy especially when brushed and sometimes become impossible to comb. But with today’s styling products, people with naturally curly hair are offered with a lot of styles to choose from.

These are some very attractive and easy to do styles for people who have long curly hairs like:
Ringlets and Roses: - To create this style, lift up all your hair on one side of the head and smoothen the hair with your fingers or a wide toothed comb. After it has been smoothed out properly with the curls visible, you will have to tie a fastener to this portion of the hair to secure it above the head. You can wear a bejeweled clip or a rose to give a dressy look. To add shine to your curls, you can apply liquid curl definer. This look is apt with a black dress.

Doing an Up do: - For this hairdo, you have to gather all your hair and tie it into a ponytail right at the middle of the hair. Then wrap the ponytail around into a bun and secure it with some pins. Another option is to tie a partial knot with a portion of your hair and leave the rest of the hair flowing down the back.

Not all people are fortunate enough to have such natural curls. There is no other way, but to get them curled. One way to create such loose bouncy curls are to use curling iron. You can also use hot rollers which take just ten minutes to get your hair curled. To get tighter curls, all you have to do is just apply a spray mist on your hair just before rolling them onto the rollers. For getting loose curls you have to apply a soft shine wax on the ends and some hair spray to hold the curls firmly and yet give a glossy look. If you want to create shiny loose curls, all you have to do, is apply a soft shiny wax to the ends of your hair. These help the hair from getting frizzy.

Curly Hair Care
To avoid getting frizzes, a light mist of hair spray should be used and the fingers combed down till the ends of the hairs so that the mist spreads evenly all over the hair. If you are blessed with natural curls and it tends to go frizzy and dry, a good moisturizing shampoo should be used. Have your hair cut along in layers to restore your curl and body. While choosing the hair style, you should take into consideration, the type of lifestyle that you lead. If you do not have much time to be spent in front of the mirror, ask your stylist to choose an easy to maintain look.

Long curly hair does look very gorgeous and stylish but it also needs a lot of care. Getting a proper hair cut and using the right products would help the hair remain shiny and glossy. Curly hairs require a lot of moisture especially during summer to prevent it from getting frizzy. Use a good moisturizing shampoo or a leave in conditioner to get your hair properly conditioned. Other products that should be used for maintaining the long curly tresses are frizz-control treatments, mousses and gels that are specially made for curly hairs. These help in replacing the lost moisture and avoid getting split ends. It is always advisable to consult a hair stylist or specialist before using any hair product. They would advise on the right product for the right hair.

Hair Fashion Trends

Seasons change, and along with the seasons so does hair. There are a lot of different hairstyles that come and go, than there are some hair trends that have strong staying power, some hairstyles will have flair and pizzazz, while some hairstyles will remain soft and feminine. There are a lot of different hair fashion trends, because people are so diverse. However if you want to know the most popular hair fashion trends for the great 2008, there are many to choose from. Short or long you will definitely find a hairstyle for you.
Hair Fashion #1: The Bob Hairstyles

Bob is one classic hairstyle that is loved by many, and seems to never go out of style, no matter how hard you try. There will always be a bob on a top ten list somewhere. This is one hair fashion trend that has strong staying power and most likely will look great in a short medium cut, with lots of highlights, especially for those warmer months.
Hair Fashion #2: Sleek Side Parting

this is a very simple look that can be done by simply, taking one side of your hair with a regular comb, and creating a part on the side of your main. Usually this look is accompanied by a soft ponytail or an elegant chignon, or the hair is just laying flat in sedu type look.
Hair Fashion #3: Get More Feminine Look

Feminine bringing back the 30's and 40's, women will want to get more in touch with their feminine side, by styling their hair in soft and stylish waves. Wearing low chignons and defined and stylish bangs that are usually in an intricate but simple design.

Hair Fashion #4: The Fringe Hair Style

The Fringe is a popular hairstyle that is a simple look that still makes a bold statement, where most of the hair lays flat and than the front of the mane is cut into a full voluminous bang with fringed edges that usually fall below your forehead right before your eyes, some people are daring and wear the look longer than it should be.

Curly Hairstyles

It’s hard to imagine when you are a child but it’s inevitable: in every generation there is going to be a generation gap and while you may not think that your parents got you when you were younger, you are only going to have the same problems with your children. One of the most popular trends today that many parents do not understand is the rise of emo culture. Emo is shortform for emotional and is a culture that is heavily influenced by punk, goth, and post-punk except much more sensitive. Emo is dominating the airwaves with such popular bands as Fall Out Boy, influencing the movies with such fare as Garden State, and the television with shows like The OC and One Tree Hill. The influence of emo culture has spread to the fashion world andemo fashion is making its influence felt on the runways of today.

In emo culture, feelings are placed at a premium and emo fashion can only be described as being extremely non-threatening. Much like emo’s attitude towards life, comfort is placed at a premium inemo fashion. Typically, tight jeans are a staple in emo fashion. However, you don’t want your pants to be too tight or then you’ll be entering the world of 80’s glam rock fashion.

Additionally, vintage clothing is considered to be a great and cheap way to accessorize yourself and express your own personal style. A popular staple of emo fashion is wearing vintage T-shirts or t-shirts of popular emo bands that will impress your friends. Mirroring the entrepreneurial attitude that is so popular today, it is not uncommon foremo fashion to incorporate t-shirts supporting smaller fashion labels or skateboarding companies. Distancing itself from the much more glammed out 80’s fashion, emo fashion can be described as being a bit nerdy, reflected in the huge popularity of thick, black-rimmed glasses.

Oddly enough for a subculture that strongly emphasizes personal expression, your typical emo fashion haircut involves brushing back long bangs to one side of your face. Additional staples in emo fashion include wearing studded belts and wearing Chuck Tyler Converse All-Stars shoes. Eschewing style for comfort, emo fashion can be seen when you walk through any college campus today. It is slowly making its influence felt in the working world and really any fashion trend that emphasizes comfort over style can’t really be all that bad, right?

Emo fashion is also closely associated to the popular skateboarding and snowboarding worlds. Although emo fashion may not be appropriate for that big office party or for formal functions, they provide great fashion accessories for those lazy weekends where you can run around and run errands. Additionally, emo fashion has a big advantage in that it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance to achieve that dreamy emo look and is not overly expensive to buy.

Dress's and skirts, yes emo girls do show of there legs even if they are pale guys this may or may not apply to you but there are alot of cute sexy emo dress's and skirts some with little designs on those are so cute. I like dress's that have a design on the shoulder like a skull or cherry. Hosery with the dress's and skirts fishnets or just black stockings i think girls should be able to be sexy no matter what it makes you feel good when you look good, you might not wear them all the time but showing some leg is always hott, no matter who you are or what you look like. And finally complete every outfit you have to have shoes, cute slip ons or just something super comfy, and there are girly shoes like a pair of mary janes, everygirl should have a pair beacuse they look so good with dress's or skirts while wearing a cute pair of hosery.

Emo Makeup
How to wear your makeup emo style, is eyeliner. Bring out your eyes with eyeliner black, blue, green, purple and so on. Everyone knows you can't ever wear too much eyeliner. Bring out your eyes with some eye shadow maybe two toned one color on top and another on bottom. Another cute way to wear eye shadow is to have three colors start from the inside with light color and go the the outer with darker colors. Alot of emo guys that wear eye shadow usealy do just a lil pink around the eyes but not too much. Mascara brings out your eyes alot to and makes your eye lashes look longer and fuller. If you want to bring out your cheek bones wear some blush if you dont know wear to put blush on at pinch your cheeks and just put it on wear the red shows. And to put a final touch on your beautiful face if lipgloss just a little shine is all that you need to make you lips look full and kissable.

Emo Fashion

Emo Fashion and Hairstyles:
Emo fashion has also evolved with time. There can no particular definition of this as well, but there are certain characteristics that can define Emo fashion. What has been this fascination for Emo fashion? Is it the wackiness or the weird outlook that is found very appealing to many? Of course, this is also a matter of personal opinion. Emo boys and gals have always tried to be unique in their own special way. There are no special rules as far as Emo fashion goes. The ‘dress code’ of being Emo is all about being comfortable in what you are wearing. So, how would one distinguish a true Emo guy or gal?

Though most people would scoff at the Emo look, I personally do like the cheesy and don’t-care-attitude of this ‘culture’! Skinny jeans with hoodies look fab as a representation of the Emo group. Jeans must be tight to show that you are truly Emo but make sure you can carry it off as well. The typical emotional punk movement may not really be considered fashionable by many but then the term fashion means differently to different people. Emo girls have dyed hair with asymmetrical lines and sometimes one can find nerdy glasses perched on their nose as well. A black t-shirt worn with a hooded jacket also works well. Though jackets are not completely Emo, you can go in for a lightweight kind. Loads of layering for Emo guys and girls is also important. Guys can go in for zany T-shirts worn with studded belts and fingerless gloves. Accessories in Emo fashion are aplenty ranging from hemp necklaces or tote bags. Body piercing is also considered to be very Emo! A little strange to some, but patterned knee high socks are also part of this category. Fishnet stockings worn with short skirts can work well for girls. To sport some Emo style makeup, get yourself thick pencil eyeliner and draw a thick line in one swipe. Girls need to use some clear lip gloss on their lips to complete the look. Black is the color for the nails as well, and boys, this also includes you. I am sure by now you would be thinking the Emo look is definitely taking a bizarre turn. Boys can also go in for messenger style bags to go with their skinny leg jeans. Slogans on Tees are quite common in Emo fashion. Canvas shoes and old weather beaten shoes complete the Emo look!

Emo hairstyles are quite funky to sport as well. Take a look at the group Green Day and you would know what I am talking about. Although many frown upon Emo hairstyles, these are growing in their popularity today. Girls and guys do note some of these pointers for Emo hairstyles. Shaggy hairstyles form the base of Emo hairstyles. Sometimes shaggy or sometimes spiky, these would need you to work your way around with the help of some gel and of course a hairstylist. Try some bold effects and also add a dash of color. Emo haircuts have always been characterized with black hair with bursts of colors. The look of the Emo hairstyles is such that it makes an individual style statement. Of course, people in the 80s belonging to the Emo culture are quite different from the Emo groups that are seen today. Today, most Emo hairstyles have the use of highlights as well as lowlights. Fringes and bangs are also common amongst most girls. Razor cuts that give asymmetrical lines are most sought after by girls who wish to along this path.
