Lately I have been really busy with school and work. It seems I never have time for myself!
But I always have fashion on my mind ;) seeing that summer time is just around the corner I can't help but what my summer trademark should be. And you know what, I think I just may have found one!
100 % silk scarf, worn as a head band. Let's think super glam'! Hopefully the weather gets warmer out so I can
start styling scarves into all my outfits.

So I know It has officially been summer for a month now, but for some reason today feels like the "true" first day of spring. The sun was shinning and the sky was actually blue! I didn't realize how the snow from winter really made me feel down, but now I feel happier then ever. The one person that pop's into my mind when ever I think about summer icons is Chloƫ Sevigny. I just think she truly knows how to forecast the prettiest summer trends. She always inspires me and maybe inspires you too!

Marni S/S 2010
I am in complete awe of this unique collection. Marni is putting me towards the edge of my excitement seat, I simply cannot believe their are still people out their who enjoy using different textures with different colors. The collaboration of neutral colors and military like themes complement what we should be looking forward to this summer.
This collection totally makes me think I am a Persian princess, brought to the alien land of America, to meet my white knight.
What secretes can you pull from it?

The other day I saw the movie "The Runaways" featuring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. Over all I thought the acting in the movie was well done. It was interesting to see just how much the fashion from the seventies inspires the designers today. The only thing in the movie that ticked my nerves was Dakota Fanning.
At only the age of fifteen good girl Dakota Fanning was offered the best bad girl role of a lifetime; the spectacular Cherie Currie. Why is it that all of the young and preppy teenage girls are getting all of the bad girl movie parts?
Why are all movie directors, now in days, too scared to take a risk with something new?
So to all of you directors, take a chance, Please! if not for me and all of the other bored teenagers out there, then your the love of the film. How I would just love to see a chance being taken with some original actors!
